Sailability Middle Harbour (SMH) Sailors and Volunteers together celebrated 20 years of sailing for the disabled last month at the MHYC. The Christmas BBQ complete with Christmas cake and mince pies was enjoyed by more than 50 sailors, carers and volunteers throughout the morning while the fleet of six Hansa 303s enjoyed near perfect sailing conditions in the waterway next to the Yacht Club.
President John Taylor made a short speech recognising the occasion and thanking the many organisations that have supported SMH over the past 20 years including the Rotary Club of Northbridge, Mosman Council, Middle Harbour Yacht Club and “most of all we thank all our wonderful volunteers who give their time so generously to support the sailors on the water. “
